SIAC Announces First Weekly Cross Country Honors of 2010

Atlanta, GA—Clark Atlanta’s Brittany Robinson and Justin Miller along with Kentucky State’s Kristina Record and Kieran Broussard were selected as the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) Cross Country Runners of the Week. Robinson (female) and Miller (male) were selected for the East division while Record (female) and Broussard (male) were the selections for the West division.
Robinson was the top female runner in the East after posting a time of 21:35.39 in the 5K at the University of Georgia meet. Miller, the East’s top male runner, ran a 30:26.60 in the 8K at the same event.
Record led all female runners in the West with a time of 23:44.03 in the 5K at the Ashbury College meet. At the same Ashbury College meet Kieran Broussard ran a time of 18:23.47 in the 5K, which was the best time among the male’s in the West this week.
