Columbia, SC-- The 2010 Benedict College Football Media Day is set for Friday, Aug. 20, beginning at 3:00 p.m. at Charlie W. Johnson Football Stadium (Press Box) in Columbia, SC. As in the past, all players and coaches will be available to members of the media. Special media requests should be directed to the Benedict College Office of Sports Information by calling 803-705-4535 or 803-705-4346.
Immediately following Media Day, the Tiger Booster Club of the Central Midlands will host a Pre-Football Kickoff Bash. The football players, cheerleaders, Tiger Band of Distinction, Athletic Director Willie Washington, and President, David H. Swinton will be in attendance and available to the media and general public. The Tigers will hold their regular practice of fall camp later that day at 7:00 p.m. All practices during Benedict’s fall camp will be open to the media.
